Here at the Cold Smoke Awards we seek films communicating the stories of winter life in the mountains through an innovative lens. Not just innovation in what is being done on snow, but innovation in culture and activism. We strive to bring diversity to the CSA screens; winter is the common thread. While “ski porn” certainly has a place in the CSA, we are always searching for films that reach out to the soul and intellect of the winter culture.
